A successful Year One!

Pemota Consultancy just turned 1, and what a year it was!

On a personal level: starting my own company was a big step (after 24 years of service at one of the most respected organisations in the field of labour relations). Of course, there was a truckload of experience and knowledge to fall back on, but still, how would it be to run my own company? Would I be able to offer my customers the same, or preferably even a higher level of service? Would there be enough continuity, and would I be able to properly manage my time?
After Year One, I’m happy to say that it was all I had hoped for, and even more! The whole year was filled with hugely interesting and challenging EWC projects for a wide range of international customers.
As experts for European Works Councils (EWCs), we tackled numerous critical topics, including site closures, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructuring, and collective redundancies.
By expanding the Pemota network with experts ready to step in when needed, we’ve ensured continuity and reliability in our services, empowering EWCs to navigate complex decisions and providing in-depth guidance on legal frameworks and practical procedures.
From negotiating new EWC Agreements, to training newly established European Works Councils, we were able to play an important role in ensuring the protection of employee rights and interests. We have improved communication between management and EWCs and created better understanding for cultural diversity.

As we raise a toast to our first year, I thank both customers and partners for all the trust and support I have received during this incredible journey. Here’s to many more years of success, growth, and making an impact with Pemota Consultancy! Cheers!
